A wire is connected to a battery to produce a current, what type of force is a result of the flow of charge ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There would be a magnetic force created when there is a current. when the charges are not moving there is only forces from the electric field.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the charge in a conductor flows due to the electrical force applied on it because of a potential difference which is known as elector motive force (emf). yaa but overall no charge displacement is considered in a conductor because if the emf source is AC then electrons just vibrates forth and back on their mean position and if it is DC then the electrons are supplied by the battery itself
