witch of the following was a major concern in the 1980's A. AIDS B. internet spying C. global terrorism

OpenStudy (zzelinski):

A.

OpenStudy (goldphenoix):

It cannot be B because internet as we know today didn't exist. So it's either A or C. I believe it's C.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe it would be A, during this time, people were worried about AIDS.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A i think.

OpenStudy (opcode):

It is A. I'll go ahead and explain. Feel free to add more. Lets look back on history. From the 14th to 17th century people fear witches and witchcraft. Rumors spread about, like people who were born short (dwarfism). Their mother was a witch. Starting around the 18th to 20th century people learn about AIDS. Most people weren't concerned, because they only believe homosexual men contracted AIDS. etc. But then other rumors like if you touch anyone that has AIDS you'll get AIDS. So people became scared, and concerned over nothing... Amusing isn't? Check out this .pdf to read more. (I don't know why I had this bookmarked... Don't ask.): http://psychology.ucdavis.edu/rainbow/html/abs99_sp.pdf
