Pleaseeeee Help! Use the figure below: Assume that the 3 x 5.5 m rectangles on the right and left are the bases. 1. What is the surface area of the prism? 2. What is the lateral surface area of the prism?

well, you have 2 endpoints, one of the left and one on the right, they're both 2 rectangles, 3x5.5 each, so you add those then you have 4 longer faces, the lateral ones, 2 of them are 17.2x3 [horizontal ones] the other 2 [vertical ones] are 17.2x5.5 so you add those too, and you get the SURFACE area :)
now, the "lateral" surface, well, that's just the value of adding the longer sides, the ones facing horizontally and the other 2 facing vertically :)
