1.	Describe the conditions in the Soviet Union after World War II.  How did the conditions differ from those in the United States?

The population in the Soviet Union greatly decreased and many of its natural resources were destroyed. They took help from Britain and Sweden, but not the US.  Meanwhile, The US had gotten out of its depression, many people were going to college, women were beginning to fight for their rights and working in the work force alongside men, and the US was becoming a bigger force, and such.
