explain the analogy between the flow of charge in a conductor under a potential difference with the free fall of a body under gravity

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when you raise a body above ground level you will have to work against the gravity this work remain store in the body as potential energy and is called as gravitational potential energy.. any object in this universe want to attain a state of minimum potential energy. therefore when an object is released from a height above the ground level it fall toward earth because there is a difference of potential energy of the body at the two points... similarly if there is a difference of electric potential between two end of the conductor the current flows from the higher potential to lower potential side

the potential difference can be created by several means... mechanical ( like in generator or dynamo), chemical (like in dry cell, or in lead acid accumulator), or by photoelectric effect.

undrstd, thank you very much :)
