Well, it's different because yours is showing how to find the square root with a calculator, the link I gave you is showing you how to do it [without] a calculator...

Oh, I see, yeah, they both show it without a calculator, well yours says:

- this method calculates the square root digit by digit using only simple operations.-

and mine says it uses long division. Maybe look at the one I sent since they use 10 as an example, and see if it helps:)

It seems to work for the number 10, but when I try it with 2, it doesn't work. Maybe I just don't understand it. Do different methods only work for certain numbers?
