what do scientists mean by a living thing's "genetic code"?
Think about the alphabet. Theres about 26 different letters in the English language. Lets assume you can combine 3 different letters to make a word/sequence/combination/ or as scientists say "code". Lets assume the "code' to make a monkey is T-B-C. That combination of the letters T, B and C would be the monkeys "code". Lets assume again and say the cheetahs code is Z-Z-N. Thats his code. Now a gorilla: B-C-K. Thats his code. As you see, we can combine the letters of the alphabet in a billion other ways. Well the same applies for people. Every person is different in height, hair color, face shape, etc because their "code" is different. Hope that helps...
The genetic information code points to an intelligent source.
