what are the coordinates for f(x) = -6 + x^2, when x = 0 sn: i get (0, -6) but computer says wrong answer??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is right ( 0,-6 )

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry, correction! Computer response is that my ordered pairs are correct but my y-value or f(x) is wrong. I am putting -6 as the f(x) value. Am I missing something?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did u need to find the value of f(x) or x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(x) = -6 when x=0 and thus the ordered pair is (0,-6)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks... something is wrong here cuz i got the ordered pair right (0,-6) but when i put -6 for the value of x or f(x) it still says i am wrong so i just put 0 and i got it right...
