If AC=3x+3 and AD=2x-2, then find DC. I really need help this is the last question for my test anyone want to take a crack at it?

DC = AD AD = 2x - 2 AC = 3x+3 AC = 2*AD = 2* (2x-2) 3x+3 = 4x-4 7 = x 2(7)-2= 14-2= 12

so 12 would be the answer? I see how you set that up even when I put them equal to each other I could never get the answer fully?
