i need help graphing a roller coaster for ap calc... my first equation is 3x+50

it needs to follow these guidelines

that's easy. Just make a function of an inverted x^2 + bx+c ==> -x^2+blah blah|
then piecewise it to start from where the first function (3x+50) ends etc

the thing i don't get is making sure that everything has a smooth transition
when i did mine everything was sharp edges
