You then walk to the tall pine tree & measure an angle of 63 deg between the start of the hiking trail & the fire tower. The distance between the start of the hiking trail & the tall phone pine tree is 2 kilometers.
1)Use the tangent function to find the distance between the start of the hiking trail & the fire tower. Round to nearest kilometer.
2)Is the tangent function a better choice for solving this problem than the sine function or the cosine function? explain
