Write the sum using summation notation, assuming the suggested pattern continues. 343 + 512 + 729 + 1000 + ... + n^3

this gives some info on this http://www.mathsisfun.com/algebra/sigma-notation.html the only trick is what is the first number ? each number in the list is a cube (multiplied by itself 3 times) you could use a calculator to find the cube root of 343, or you might know 10*10*10=1000 and work backward (guess that 9*9*9=729 It does.) and so on...
