That's in Latin America. Peninsulares are the original Spaniards and full first class citizens. Creoles were full Spanish but born in Latin America. Mestizos were Spanish and Native american. and Mulatto was Spanish and African America. Usually Mestizos were looked down upon, and the same with Mulattos. Most Mulattos were considered second class.
