OpenStudy (precal):

not the ones I like to do, somehow it involves geometry, not sure about this one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (precal):

@amistre64 do you know how to do this one?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

A(x) = x + 2 since this defines the area of any given "slice", then yes \[\int_{-1}^{3}x+2~dx\]

OpenStudy (amistre64):

geometrywise, its the area of a trap; average of the heights times base (3--1) [(-1+2) + (3+2)]/2 4 (3) = 12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay i see
