Can someone review this essay for me. Please. It a rough draft--

Hello,
I am a student at Tarpon Springs High school. And I have questions regarding the rumors about uniforms that are supposedly happening next year. I want to know the reasons behind deciding why public schools need to wear uniforms. And why students are not being notified about changes happening.

If the rumors are true about Tarpon Springs High school having to wear polo uniforms next year. I can honestly tell you that the students will not be following this "dress code". In coming freshmen will not know of this new change, and seniors (like me) will not be wearing a maroon polo. We will absolutely refuse and happily accept getting referrals for not wearing them. We are an A class school, and we the students have other things to worry about. Wearing polo's to school is not one of them.

Many student's in out school take honors, ap, or online classes as well. Also many students have jobs right after school. I doubt that anyone knows how much stress high school students deal with everyday in school. We have no days off. We usually have homework, tests, exams or something to study for. Even in school we do not get a free day. We sometimes grade teachers papers to help them out.

Tarpon Springs High school is not a private school, public schools do not wear uniforms. If the school has issues with some of the things students wear its simple. Have the student call their parents to bring them appropriate clothes, have a change of basketball shorts and a school shirt in the office for students to change into. Those would work more efficiently then giving the student a referral and ic for the next day. The whole school should be punished for a hand full of students dressing appropriately. The teachers complain about students outfits, and yet no one pays attention to the teachers outfits.

The teachers can wear what they please in classes. For example my math teacher almost everyday has her bra showing threw her shirt. Two weeks ago she was wearing the shortest skirt i've ever seen on a teacher. But I guess its no big deal since shes being let go after this year. Some teachers dress very professional and others do not.

More than half the whole school is full of students that only go to Tarpon Springs High school for the three magnate programs. Veterinary, Culinary, and Band. These students go to school to graduate and get to collage not to be told their senior year they have to possibly wear polo's all year. I my self know multiple students that will be seniors next year who have gone up to the office and requested to take classes online and to come in just for their magnate classes. I will soon be one of those students my self.

Children are taught to be individual and not a copy. Yet the school board wants to dress everyone as copies? My parents have always taught me to be me, they say that I was born and original not a copy. By taking away individualism it will cause more problems then you know. Including that Tarpon Springs High is not a normal school. My school is a Greek school, full or Greek students and teachers. And proud to be either Greek or attending a Greek school.

When something is good then things should not be changed. By giving us uniforms our A school will go down. Student will not be happy and comfortable. And when you do not have happy and comfortable teenagers things will not be good for anyone.
