find the values of the inverse function in radians for arcsin(0.65). a.0.71+2pi n and -0.71+2pi n b.0.71+2pi n and -3.85+2pi n its either one of these but i dont understand the second part to the answer i got the first part

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think this is strictly a calculator question.... just plug that problem into your calculator but make sure your calculator is in RADIAN mode....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know how to use the calculator for these problems.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

arcsin is that button on your calculator with "\(\large sin^{-1} \)"....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got the first part of the answer but im not sure how to get the second part

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OIC... you mean after the "and" in the choices above..... ????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the RANGE of arcsin is [-pi/2, pi/2] or about [-1.57, 1.57]... since -3.85 is not in the range, i'd say your answer is the first one...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's what i thought thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yw... :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me with another one of these?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure.. but put it up as a new post.... :)
