OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am confused Why is (3x + 5) (x - 2) + (2x - 3) (x - 2) not in factored form?

OpenStudy (hunus):

You can factor out an (x-2)

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

You have to multiply it out and then combine then you can factor it.

OpenStudy (hunus):

\[(3x + 5) (x - 2) + (2x - 3) (x - 2)\] \[(x-2)((3x + 5) + (2x - 3))\]You can just add together the terms in the right parentheses
