General term for the following sequence. -3, 6, -9, 12, -15, . . .

that terms has alternating sign, -,+,-,+,-,+,... it is (-1)^n 3,6,9,12,15,... it is like a multiple of 3. therefore it is (-1)^n * 3n with n = 1,2,3,4,...

Thank you I worked it out at and got (3n) -1^n which is the same thing :)
