OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you check task 2 please?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Given: Angles 2 and 5 are supplementary. Prove: lines l and m are congruent

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@UnkleRhaukus

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

Task One :- converse is wrong inverse is correct contrapositive is correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The converse is wrong!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it...Dr. Madness will be defeated, if I shoot him in the big toe.?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

Statement: If I shoot Dr. Madness in the big toe, then he will be defeated. wrong Converse: He will be defeated, if I shoot Dr. Madness in the big toe. correct Converse : If Dr. Madness is defeated, then I have shot him in the big toe.

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

if you see, in the correct Converse statement, the IF condition is attached to DEFEAT. but in wrong Converse, the IF condition is attached to shooting in big toe.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so.. If Dr. Madness will be defeated, I will shoot him in the big toe?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or If Dr. Madness will be defeated, then I will shoot him in the big toe.?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

no its like this :- some how if Dr Madness was defeated, then i must have shot him in the big toe.

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

u change it into past tense. future tense looks absurd

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I though it was like this though...statement: if p then & converse: if q then p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

* statement: if p then q

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

thats right, we should not literally replace the words. the idea is, in converse, the IF condition switches to second statement.

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

for ex, look at below statement :- statement :- if it rains, then i get wet converse :- if i am wet, then it rained

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

saying :- converse :- it i am wet, then its gong to rain

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

or, converse :- if i am wet, then it rains

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

doesnt look correct (grammar wise)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay...I understand now(: can you check task 2 please?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it is completely wrong-_-

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

its partially correct :) first two rows and last row are correct. rest everything is wrong

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

il update and post wait

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thnk you(:

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

ive corrected both tasks here

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

have a look see if it makes sense
