Question

Help with Vectors? Medal award.
This is the question: Let u = <5, 6>, v = <-2, -6>. Find -2u + 5v.

This is how I worked it out:
-2((5)(-2)) = u
5((6)(-6)) = v

so the answer would be <-20, -180> but obviously that's wrong, please help!!
