If f(x) = (x - 3)/(3), then what is f–1(x) ? 1/3x – 1 3x – 1 3x – 3 3x + 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

replace y for x. y = (x - 3)/3 ---> replace to --> x = (y - 3)/3 turn back y in to a function of x [ f(x) ]. f^(-1)(x) = 3x + 3
