according the diagram above : the lateral area of cone A = pi * r * (2h) = 2 pi r h the lateral area of cylinder B = 2 * pi * r * h = 2 pi r h they are be same so, The lateral surface area of cone A "is not" exactly 1/2 the lateral surface area of cylinder B, but they are be same therefore, it is false
