Help with one question please!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sin42=h/3280

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(sin42)*3280=h

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's what i got

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep. The sin of an angle is opposite/hypotenuse and you have the angle, which is 42 degrees. So that's equal to the opposite side of the triangle (x) over the hypotenuse (3280)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

agreed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the easy way to remember it is SOHCAHTOA, which is sin= opp/hyp, cos=adjacent/hyp and tangent= opp/adjacent

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok thanks guys!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

rounded to the nearest foot though ... so 2195

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh yeah! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

read carefully

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i will!
