you could use the distance formula for this one, with those two points. \[\large d=\sqrt{(x_{2}-x_{1})^2+(y_{2}-y_{1})^2}\] you have (5,7) and (-3,1)\[\large d=\sqrt{(-3-5)^2+(1-7)^2}\] i'll let you finish up :)
