HELP ME PLEASE!! After meeting with Soviet and British leaders, President Truman left Potsdam believing that _____.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a) Great Britain presented a real threat to peace b) Eastern Europe would be under control of the Allies c) there would be free elections in Eastern Europe d) the alliance with the Soviet Union was falling apart

OpenStudy (zzelinski):

D?

my mom said the same thing. i guess i will go with it.

OpenStudy (zzelinski):

Yeah because great britain was sort of in an alliance with the US and they wanted peace, so it couldn't be a. Eastern Europe was in a sense already under control of the allies, so not b, and c just doesn't even make sense.
