PLEASE HELP, i'll give a medal. What was one of the aims of the Contract with America? a. to reduce the U.S' reliance on foreign oil. b. to reduce the impact of money on political campaigns. c. to reduce poverty and expand economic opportunities. d. to reduce federal spending on social welfare programs. Yes this is for a test, I did all 59 questions by myself I just need a lil help with this..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What time period is this? XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'll be able to help, but I need to know roughly what century or decade it's in XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think like 1990s.. lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH okay, let me get my notes. Can you wait five more minutes? :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes! Lol thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was going over my other answers and I realize I skipped 2 of them -__- Could you try to help me with those as well?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alrighty then, it took me awhile to find it but I think I know the answer now. It can't be A or B because there is nothing in the Contract about Oil, or Political Campaign prices. But during this time the Republicans wanted to lower spending and more entrepreneur stuff, which could be considered economic opportunities. I'm not 100% sure but I think it's C.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay that makes sense! Thank you. If you could help this, it'd be really appreciated. The Beatnik movement developed in the United States in reaction to which one of these? a. the growing power of corporations and unions. b. the violence and extremism of the antiwar movement. c. the conformity and materialism of mainstream society. d. the economic deprivations of the Great Depression and World War II.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can't explain why, because it's a little fuzzy, I barely touched this decade in my AP class, but I'm pretty sure it's conformity and materialism of Mainstream society.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hope I helped! :) But I have to go. Good night (or day) xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you!! And goodnight :)
