For the first one. The probability is (7/9)(2/8) For the second one. The probability is (2/9)(1/8) Intuitively, there is greater chance of selecting two purple marbles in a row. (7/9)(6/8) <- for 2 purple (2/9)(1/8) <- for 2 white
