Chris swims at a speed of 4mph in still water. The current in a river is moving at 2.5mph. How long will it take Chris to swim 2.2 miles upriver against the current? I have never seen a question like this, can someone please explain it to me?

|dw:1369885850744:dw| Since Chris is moving in a direction opposite of the river, his speed is 4 - 2.5 = 1.5mph
