Well for question 28, algae are protists not plants, "free-living or colonial organisms with diverse nutritional and reproductive modes." Ah, I would say A would be the answer they're looking for. For question 29, green algae are the most closely related to plant life. Like plants, green algae contain cellulose within their cell walls and pigments such as carotenoids and chloropyll.

30, Sporophyte generation; A sporophyte is the diploid generation of a plant or alga that has a double set of chromosomes. The sporophyte produces spores by meiosis. sporophyte generation grows out of the gametophyte. It consists of a slender stalk with a capsule at the end. The capsule contains spores.
