find the domain of f(y)= (y+4)/(y^2-4y)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All real numbers EXCEPT those that make the denominator = 0.

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

If the denominator = 0...the function is undefined....so your domain will be all real numbers besides those... But what numbers make this denominator = 0? Factor the bottom and see what is the factored form of y^2 - 4y ?
