what is the domain of 1/(x-2) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Basically in the problem \[f(x)=1/(x-2)\], you need to find all possible solutions for x. Well that can take alot of time and it is easier to find what x can not be equal to. We know that we never want the denominator of a fraction to equal 0. So first what number of x will make the denominator equal to 0?

\[x \neq 2 ?\]

So that means X can be alll other real numbers and not get 0, correct? So the answer would be All real numbers where \[x \neq2\]
