The center of Circle (x+8)^2 + (y+10)^2=169 is (-8, -10). True or false!!! PLease help thanks

in (x+8)^2 the the x co-ordinate is shifted to 8 places and in (y+10)^2 y co-ordinate is shifted to 10 places. for calculation, we assume to shift the centre back to the origin. x+8 is the x co-ordinate of the centre. since this is assumed to be at the origin, we take x+8 = 0 so, x=-8 the same is applicable for the y co-ordinate. to remember this, just change the sign in x and y co-ordinates for (x+8)^2 + y+10)^2, take the centre as (-8,-10)
