The independent would be how many hours she works. The dependent would be how much she gets paid each week. This narrows it down to B or C

So you would take the number of hours she plans to work. In this case, it's 20 and 25 hours. You take that and multiply it by how much she gets paid per hour. So 20 x 9 = 180 (the minimum she would be paid) and then do 25 x 9 = 225 (the max she would be paid). So the answer is C.
