This is the long way of solving this but it works, 5-2= 3 8-5=3 so, there's a difference of 3. what you want to do is use your calculator and type 2 + 5+ 8+ 11+14+ 15+18... and so on and add them all together until you reach 53. Like I said, it's a long way of solving but it works.

I'm sorry in the information above, I said type 2+5+8+11+14 it should be 2+5+8+11+15 and so on.
