Have you tried 36?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

The sum of the interior angles of a triangle...is 180....so add the 2 angles you have...and subtract that from 180 to get...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

144!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but your wrong

OpenStudy (tyteen4a03):

Set up an equation: x + 65 + 79 = 180 (angle sum of triangle)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes @tyteen4a03 idk what's x ! do I have to divide by both sides?

OpenStudy (tyteen4a03):

No. You simply solve this equation by subtracting terms from both sides. In the end, you want x = something.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

36!

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

"so add the 2 angles you have...and subtract that from 180 to get...?" You were supposed to subtract 144 FROM 180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks wish I could give you both medals
