Simplify sin θ csc θ − sin2 θ.

OpenStudy (tyteen4a03):

Remember that csc(x) = 1/sin(x).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so that would drop out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sin(x) csc(x)-sin(2x) sin(x)(1/sin(x))-sin(2x) (sin(x)/sin(x))-sin(2x) 1-sin(2x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

You understand what I did?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I converted csc(x) to the equivalent (1/sin(x)) so I had sin(x) times 1/sin(x)... which is sin(x)/sin(x) which is the same as 1.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i did. i had to look at it a few times but i got it,
