83% of the 25 oz of mixture is peanuts.   (.83 x 25)

The 25 oz comes from 20 oz of pure + 5 oz of mixed.

This is made up of 20 oz of pure peanuts and some percentage of the 5 oz of mixed nuts.

20 + 5x = .83(25)

Do you see?  How to do a type of problem is more important than being able to do a problem.
