This is the inverse of matrix A. 1 1 -1 -3 2 -1 3 -3 2 A is a matrix that represents a system of equations. If [A] x =2 y 1 z -1 , what does y equal? A. -3 C. 4 B. 1 D. 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

[A] x 2 y = 1 z -1

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

the w0t?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

well, I see that, but looks more like a 3x3 times a 1x3 matrices :|, which will yield a 3x1, not a number alone

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

@rebekita01 so, what is it you need again?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

well, yes, y would be 1, but, that'd be a given from the questioin :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what does y equal

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

well, you see, at least myself, I don't know what's being sought after :/

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

so far I can see the inverse matrix \(A^{-1}\), but dunno about the rest
