Is anyone here good at advanced calculus?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

Like analysis?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

I got an A, I would still not say Im good:)

OpenStudy (dan815):

HI IAM GOOD AT ADVANCED CALCULUS WHAT U WANT

OpenStudy (dan815):

im just kidding xD i am just starting to learn basics of calculus

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://gyazo.com/c2a712e495a1823641bcddb0891000b5

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

do you have def of cut?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

@FutureMathProfessor do you have a definition of cut? we might call it something different?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

is this sequent calculus?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's advanced calculus. It's all theory

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

Yes I know...what is the definition of a cut? you should have that...

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

I am done with analysis and complex analysis i.e, all the advanced calculus one needs to graduate:)

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

Even if I google cut I don't get anything that seems to be fitting....Hence a definition would be nice......

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

Take any two non empty disjoint sets A and B of Q, such that A union B is Q. This collection (A,B) is called Dedekind cut?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

@FutureMathProfessor if you would like help you need to answer questions...

OpenStudy (dan815):

zzrock3r what does it feel like to complete all this math?? do u see the world different

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

no I don't see the world...I see my school:)

OpenStudy (dan815):

:(

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

the whole world looks like 0's and 1's

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

its like the matrix

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

jk:P

OpenStudy (dan815):

lol

OpenStudy (dan815):

can you solve like pretty much anything?? like can you look at a flower and see the pattern its growing in and write an equation for its growth and how its leaves will spread?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

If I think a cut is when two disjoint sets form the set that they are a sub set of.

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

lol

OpenStudy (dan815):

YOU CAN CANT YOU!! that wud be the life!

OpenStudy (dan815):

i wonder if i learn enuff math, ill be able to just do infinite series sums and all kinds of math all in my head!! then when i walk down the street i can see an equation for everything i see!

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

Medals 0 let C_r be defined as you said if c is in C_r then c is no in Q-C_r because c is in Q and thus cant be greater than r in Q and less then r in Q at the same time, by transitivity... thus the set C_r and Q-C_r are disjoint. let q be in Q then q < r or q >= r thus q is in C_r union Q-C_r (this is trivial)
