As the marketing designer for Burger King, you are given a 4 in by 6 in logo and have been told to create an advertisement with sides six times larger. What is the area of your advertisement (in feet)? [12 inches = 1 ft]

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Okay, you have a 4in by 6in logo.....and you want one 6 times larger ...meaning 4 * 6 in.....by.....6 * 6 in then convert the inches to ft (by dividing by 12) and you'll be all set :)

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Sorry didn't realize it asked for the area....well after you do 4 * 6in by 6 * 6in to get 24in by 36in This would be a rectangle....and the area is found by Length * Width so you do 24in Times 36in THEN divide by 12 to convert into feet :)
