OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you my friend

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If I did this it would take me a while...I'll see what I can do though. I'll do some research and find similarities between the individuals.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you very much, I have plenty of other work that I can be doing so take your time, thank you!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No Prob.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1 Similarity is that they both had their own Private force. Mussolini had his Secret Police, While Hitler had the Gestapo.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A.K.A his storm troops @bookworm00981

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2. They both held high positions in Politics before rising to power.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

also im not sure if th Waffen SS counts as a secret army

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It was classified as such.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what i thought but i wasnt sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They Both had small beginnings, However Mussolini had more education than Hitler.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3. They were both arrested. And spent time in Prison.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4. They were both madmen. Not necessarily Crazy but madmen. Mussolini was a Socialist and Hitler was antisemite

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

Both Hitler and Mussolini's societies were extremely anti-democratic and attempted to organize totalitarian states controlling industry, agriculture, education, and the way people live.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5. They both served as soldiers. Mussolini as an Italian Soldier. And Hitler in the Bavarian Army during world war 1.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Actually that should be six... Since @texaschic101 got number 5. So that's the similarities, can anyone do the rest for me. I just remembered I have an exam I must do.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Bye guys! See you later!!!

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

bye

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one was German the other Italian there is a differance

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

Both Hitler and Mussolini were dictators, but their constitutional positions were different. In Italy, monarchy still remained, and thought Mussolini ignored King Emmanuel, the king played a vital role in Mussolini's fall, when he was able to announce Mussolini's dismissal and order him arrested. Unfortunately, there was nobody in Germany who could dismiss Hitler.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

bookworm kinda already said one.... Mussolini was a Socialist and Hitler was antisemite

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

true

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

Hitler was more about a social/historical platform and Mussolini was more about an economic platform.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is all that I need, thank you all so much!

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

thats what we are here for :)
