find the inverse of the given function f(x)=11x-3/22

OpenStudy (rajee_sam):

(11x - 3)/22 is it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it is

OpenStudy (rajee_sam):

so you have f(x) = y = (11x-3) / 22. f(x) is actually y So interchange the places for x and y. Remember for finding any inverse function you do that. so your y = (11x - 3) / 22 becomes x = (11y - 3) /22 Now you have to solve for y by isolating it. 22x = (11y -3) 22x + 3 = 11y y = (22x + 3)/11 That is your inverse function
