My math question is: What integer increased by -12 is 28? So I took 28 + -12 and got 16. So then I took 16 - -12 and got 28. Am I doing that right???

OpenStudy (reemii):

a number \(N\), increased by -12 gives 28. -> \(N+(-12)=28\).

Okay..

OpenStudy (reemii):

the answer is \(N=40\).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So I was wrong.. Thank you, though!
