OpenStudy (anonymous):

Part I: Provide the coordinates of a parallelogram A’B’C’D’ that is congruent to parallelogram ABCD. Explain why these figures are congruent. (4 points) Part II: Provide the coordinates of a parallelogram A’’B’’C’’D’’ that is similar to parallelogram ABCD. Explain why these figures are similar. (6 points)

what have u done until now?

This problem is super tricky and it is my last one

OpenStudy (reemii):

if you know the definition of "congruence" and "similarity" it should not be too tricky. Congruent: you can translate and rotate the initial shape, the resulting shape is congruent to the initial one. Just move all four points A,B,C,D to the right by 1 little square, you get a congruent parallelogram. Similarity: ... (it should be written in your book?)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't have a book i am in FLVS

OpenStudy (reemii):

similarity: you are allowed to scale the initial shape, the resulting shape is "similar" to the first shape. For this one, just find points that will define a parallelogram that is half the size of ABCD.
