1) The Puritans often used _ to the Bible in their writing. a) illusions b) allusions 2) The root word in lithology is lith, which means? a) study b) light c) stone

OpenStudy (bostonblue):

what class is this for? you probably know what an 'illusion' is - do you think the puritans used 'illusions' to the bible? for the second one, you need to know what 'lithology' means - and then it will be easy. "ology" means 'the study of' . . . so 'geology' (for example) means the study of the earth's physical structures. the root 'geo' means 'earth, soil and ground.' so lithology is the study of something, but what? can you look it up?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you, yeah I'll look it up. c:

OpenStudy (bostonblue):

good work. that wasn't so hard, was it ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it's allusions, and according to my sources lith means stone. Check me? :D
