Volume for a triangular pyramid??

OpenStudy (reemii):

seems it's "(area of base \(\times\) height)/3"

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

That would be correct @reemii

OpenStudy (reemii):

ok thx for confirming this.

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

yes @reemii

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks guysss! (:

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

\[\large V_{pyramid} = \frac{1}{3}(b*h)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is that the same as what @reemii said, just in a different form or something? @Jhannybean

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

Nope, just used equation editor to make it look clean haha :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohhh okay! Lol (: @Jhannybean

OpenStudy (reemii):

hmm.. you should say "yes". the \(b\) in that formula is "area of the base". so it's the same.

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

oh LOL i read that as "is it different" haha my bad x_x

OpenStudy (reemii):

now all is clear ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lol yup
