one minor axis vertex is located at (-3,-8). Find the other minor axis vertex for the ellipse defined by the equation? (x+6)^2/(9) + (y+8)^2/(16) =1

OpenStudy (primeralph):

just change -3 in (-3,8) to 3

OpenStudy (primeralph):

ze medal?

you should explain why. to find the answer I'd draw the graph, or at least start drawing it. to do this you'll want to plug in the easiest points to look at. for example, when y = -8 or when x = -6.
