A water heater has a height of 65 inches and a diameter of 22 inches. Approximately how much insulation is needed to cover the sides of the water heater? (Assume the water heater is cylindrical.)

|dw:1370196864407:dw| the amount needed to cover it the "sides" of it, will be the same as the LATERAL AREA of it, so, is 65inches long times it's width now how wide is it? would you say that it's as wide as the CIRCUMFERENCE of the circular area it goes around?
