2 stays in the sqrt because it is prime sqrt(8) can be simplified though so that turns into sqrt(4*2) then sqrt(2*2*2) since there are two 2's you put one two outside and it turns into this sqrt(2)/2 sqrt(2) which makes it 2sqrt(4) cause it multiplys so your answer is 2sqrt(2) do you understand?
