Should schools have metal Detectors?
Now-a-days ya so they could protect the kids, there has been alot of school shootings and killings so its the only way to be sure they are safe plus the school is help responsible if anything happens. The only issue with that are the piercings that are metal, lol but its worth alil bit of trouble if you ask me
I believe it is a good idea to have medal detectors within our schools. I think everyone including parents, chaperons, and anyone who isn't familiar with the school should walk through them every time one enters the school. It's a good way to help keep our students safe. I feel there is too many disastrous situations in our schools lately, and any extra precautions wouldn't hurt. :)
yes
Well my old school never had any metal detecters but yes i think they should because it could save a lot of lives. And bringing a weapon to school is not worth taking someones life! So yes they should have them in schools.
The school I just graduated from never had metal detectors, of course. It is small town USA and our graduating class was 178... On one hand it is an invasion of personal privacy but on the other hand it's a matter of public safety, you know? You could argue it both ways but I think the general consensus is that metal detectors in school is a good idea. Especially in more populated or lower income areas.
Metal detectors aren't a good idea for busy schools just saying. There would be a huge back log of students trying to enter...
Well if you provided an easy way for the backlog to get through then it wouldn't be an issue. Like if you provided more metal detectors.
Schools already have trouble, affording books. What makes you thing they can afford a 10 grand metal detector?
So really the problem here is funding for the schools, not the actual metal detectors themselves?
If we can provide better funding for school protection then buying two more metal detectors shouldn't be as big of an issue.
